One Truism that can be said about African people is that they are generally spiritual and/or religious. This attitude that is embedded in African culture and way of life can be traced back to the major contribution Africa made to world religions such as Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Unfortunately, the history of colonization has blurred that contribution by qualifying African spiritual practices and thoughts as primitive or backward. However, a close study of African spiritual thought shows a rigorous and profound scientific understanding of life and nature.
