Capitalism cannot survive without expanding internationally. During this international phase, Imperialism and capitalism employ different strategies, including colonialism, settler colonialism, and neocolonialism. It is important to understand the principles and the mechanisms of Imperialism and how it created the current global division of labor. In this new configuration, Africa is condemned to be only a source of raw materials, while all the goods come from the metropole.
