African Empires And Kingdoms

Link to recording

Between the 9th and 15th centuries, various parts of Africa developed unevenly. Some were still displaying forms of communalism (advanced or not), while others were emerging as small or larger power states with some feudal characteristics, or a mixture of both. Nevertheless, Africa and Africans kept advancing in history, making contributions to the entire world.

Join our Political Education series as we dive back into African History by looking at some of the major political formations on the continent between the 9th and 15th centuries.
